Cole Hightman, Electrical Technology Graduate from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology

Following in my father’s footsteps, I pursued a career as an electrician, graduating third in my class at Thaddeus Stevens. I obtained a job at JLS Automation right out of college where I helped to build packaging robots. After over three wonderful years of reading schematics to build neat electrical panels, bending conduit to help shape these huge robots, and troubleshooting the computer programs, I decided to move to another area of the electrical field. I currently work full time at General Dynamics as an electrical technician, where I troubleshoot and fix machines and update all electrical components of the buildings such as lighting, heating, etc.

After many years of dreaming to own a company, I finally did the research of how to start. I hope that using this website, a facebook page, passing out business cards, and the help of word of mouth, I can make this business grow substantially. I will enjoy doing all of these jobs on the side, but hope one day business may pick up to the point of hiring other workers.
